Cassie Adkins has always had a love for reading and for writing! She believes that books allow our imaginations the opportunity to truly thrive! She now has the privilege to be a stay at home mom to three fabulous kiddos whose adventurous and endearing personalities have inspired her to create this book series! Cassie hopes that all who read the Alphabet Zoo stories will not only learn a thing or two about letters and their sounds, but that they would also be inspired by the ability of the relatable characters to overcome obstacles! She wants readers to know that they too have the power to overcome! (John 16:33) Cassie is so thankful to be able to work on this fun project with her sister, Abbie, who is responsible for crafting all of the beautiful illustrations!

Abbie Baxter is a college student pursuing education in kinesiology and nutrition science. She is very passionate about fitness and overall wellness. This includes the health and vitality of the brain! She loves to learn and wants to instill this passion for learning in younger children. When her sister, Cassie, told her that she had written a children's book and was in need of illustrations, she was so excited to get involved in this project. Abbie can't wait to see what is in store for the Alphabet Zoo series!
Curriculum Specialist of Animal Adventures
Carrie Baxter believes that everyone has a unique and specific role in the story of humanity. She has spent a lifetime discovering and editing her own. As a lifelong learner, she has gathered experience from a variety of jobs, including being a school bus driver! While teaching language arts and math to middle schoolers, she was dismayed that only a handful of students from her classes were able to read and comprehend the classic tales and novels that were assigned in the classroom. It was this experience coupled with her love for the English language that drove her to want to do more. Carrie has a BA in Elementary Education from Prescott College in Arizona and a ME in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages). She is passionate about everyone having the opportunity to become avid readers. She is also blessed with being the mom of these two amazing young ladies, Cassie Adkins and Abbie Baxter, who are bringing the Animal Adventure Book series to life!
